Lynette Fisher
Born in Auckland, Aotearoa NZ
Lives & works in Te Puna, Tauranga
Lynette Fisher is a Tauranga based creative practitioner.
Her art practice ranges from printmaking, drawing, assemblage and painting, all of which have featured in solo and group shows around New Zealand. Her work is held in public and private collections.
Her work investigates themes of adoption, guardianship and ownership - appropriating existing imagery and re-placing it in awkward, misplaced and re-imagined worlds. There is an underlying sense of nostalgia and tension between past and present traversing space, time and identity.
Lynette works from her studio in Te Puna, where works can be viewed by appointment.
